We will walk through the creative process of song writing, starting with following various prompts and building upon small concepts, ideas and inspirations.
By the end of the workshop, each group member will have written an lyric map of ideas and concepts, based on inspiration from the prompts as well as a rough melody. We will share these within the group and discuss the various directions that we can go with song writing prompts and how to open ourselves to the creative process.

WRITING FROM THE SENSORY
Workshop
Meet Leo at the Healing Hub then the group will walk together to a more nature setting for the workshop. Writing from the Sensory is a 90 minute workshop held in a natural bush setting. It introduces a writing process which uses the physical senses in a natural setting to stimulate expression, creativity and insight. Simple, easy to follow processes will be introduced to let you free your mind by writing instead from the body. These processes can be used anywhere, anytime and are a great way of connecting to your environment and nature. It is suitable for all levels including first time writing adventurers.

Did you know that there are over 2000 species of native bees in Australia? Who might live in your patch? And how can we make that space the best it can BEE?
In this interactive, family-friendly workshop we will learn how to turn a concrete jungle into paradise for native bees and other pollinators. Through games, adventure and musical learnings we’ll introduce ourselves to the diversity of native bees, learn about the bees (k)needs; i.e. where they live, and what flowers they forage. Participants of all ages will be supported to design and nurture your own spaces (big or small!) for people and pollinators.
