Workshop Description

Owen will demonstrate the craft of hydro distillation, honouring the authenticity of early extraction methods, to produce essential oil, hydrosol (floral water) and tannin from eucalyptus leaves. Learn the basics of setting up a small batch still, and discuss how yield differs between various plant materials. Take home a small vial of eucalyptus oil, and an information sheet detailing how to set up your own still. Having lived entirely off grid for the past 15 years, Owen will also discuss working and living in a remote area in a challenging environment. Email: contact@smso.com.au

Cancellations can be made online until 72 hours before start time - 5% cancellation fee applies. Cancellations can be made online until 24hours before start time - 50% cancellation fee applies. No refund for later cancellations.
